Professor Daniel Czitrom is the guest on this week's episode of The Chauncey DeVega Show. He is a Professor of History at Mount Holyoke College. He is the author of several books including the new New York Exposed: The Gilded Age Police Scandal That Launched the Progressive Era. He has also written the bestselling textbook Out of Many: A History of the American People.

In this week's episode of the podcast, Daniel and Chauncey talk about New York, crime, and corruption during the Gilded Age, Donald Trump and Right-wing "populism", "political correctness" on college campuses, and the inclusion of Right-wing disinformation in high school textbooks. He is an Associate Professor and Director of Women's and Gender Studies at Newark College of Arts & Sciences and University College-Newark. Whitney is also author of the books Perversion for Profit: The Politics of Pornography as well as The Rise of the New Right and Obscenity Rules: Roth v. United States and the Long Struggle over Sexual Expression.
