Professor Daniel Czitrom is the guest on this
week's episode of The Chauncey DeVega Show. He is a
Professor of History at Mount Holyoke College. He is the author of
several books including the new New York Exposed: The
Gilded Age Police Scandal That Launched the Progressive Era.
He has also written the bestselling textbook Out of Many:
A History of the American People.
In this week's episode of the
podcast, Daniel and Chauncey talk about New York, crime, and
corruption during the Gilded Age, Donald Trump and Right-wing
"populism", "political correctness" on college campuses, and the
inclusion of Right-wing disinformation in high school textbooks.
