Christian Picciolini is an award-winning television producer, a public speaker, author, peace advocate, and a former violent extremist. After leaving the hate movement he helped create during his youth in the 1980s and 90s, he began the painstaking process of making amends and rebuilding his life. Christian’s life since leaving the white‑power movement over two decades ago has been dedicated to helping others overcome their own hate. He now leads the Free Radicals Project, a global extremism prevention and disengagement network.
Christian’s involvement in, and exit from, the early American white-supremacist skinhead movement is chronicled in his memoir White American Youth. His forthcoming book, Breaking Hate: Confronting the New Culture of Extremism, will be released in February 2020.
Christian shares his experience of being seduced by violent white extremism and how he found his way out of white racial terrorism and then decided to help others do the same. He also explains the recruitment techniques used by Nazis and other white terrorist organizations to target and recruit alienated young white men (and women) who are looking for meaning and a sense of community in their lives.
And Christian details how the white supremacist movement has now seized the White House through the Trump regime (and especially Steven Miller) and is now more fully inspired and mobilized in their efforts to unleash white supremacist terrorism against nonwhites, Jews, Muslims and other “enemies” across the United States and the world.
Chauncey DeVega reflects on the spectacle that are the public impeachment hearings for the Con-Artist-in-Chief fascist criminal president Donald Trump and his shakedown extortion operation against Ukraine in order to force that country to help him steal the 2020 presidential election.
Chauncey also highlights how a series of “revelations” about Stephen Miller being a Jewish white supremacist, recordings of white supremacist leader Richard Spencer dropping the hood after Charlottesville, and white supremacist terrorists infiltrating the military are all distractions from a much more important story. The United States government’s own anti-terrorism officials admit that the country is now an exporter of white supremacist terrorism around the world.
